When I first saw the Indian Summer bedspreads on your website, I couldn’t wait to use them in this room. Because the only windows in the room face north, the room was a bit dark and dreary. Now, despite the paucity of natural light, the room literally glows. As you know, the papaya color in Indian Summer warms up a room without being loud or garish.”

In order to get the height I needed for the bed curtains, I purchased bedspreads and had them made up with ties at the top. All of the bed curtains are lined with a dark orange silk from India. My seamstress also made a slipcover for the upholstered headboard and a bedskirt out of your bedspreads.
Cindy shared that when she first traveled to India over a decade ago, she found herself mesmerized by all the colorful textiles. It was then that she first fell in love with block printed fabrics. She even got to try her hand at block printing, which she says deepened her appreciation for the craft. Cindy began designing her California home with an Indian-inspired style and has continued this design journey ever since. She says, “I’ve now completed three rooms and I’m planning a fourth. So fun!”
