Ask the Designer – which duvet works best with navy blue walls
Karen, who loves Boho style, asked us this: I absolutely love everything I have gotten from you. My office at work has your curtains, and two of my rooms at home have your valences. Now I am ready for a Duvet cover and am not sure which one would go best.
Ask the Designer: Curtains for a Yoga Studio
One of our favorite customers, Kate, is updating her yoga center for summer. In keeping with the idea of energy and meditation, we want to suggest ideas that have elements of both vigor and calm. Right now, Kate is using panels from our Dreams of India collection (Jeweled Peacock) along with another sheer panel.
Ask the Designer: Build a Bath Around My Mirror
One of our customers has a fantastic, one of a kind mirror that hangs in her bath. She wants to incorporate a Saffron Marigold shower curtain and valances, but isn’t sure which ones to choose. I’ll offer a recommendation, as well as ideas for towels and a fresh wall color.
Ask the Designer: Using Curtains in Interior Doorways
One of our customers envisions a portiere, or a curtain hung across a doorway, in his space. He is interested in using our Kilim Noir for this effect. Wisely, he is thinking about both the front and reverse sides of our sheer cotton panels, and contacted us to find out what the reverse side looks like.
Pacific Blue – ivory and indigo blue sweep to the shore!
Lois from Urbana, IL ordered our Pacific Blue curtains. This print arose from a serendipitous encounter with ancient Japanese pottery which inspired Anisha to translate that blue and white effect into a print. A little bit of Zen, a little bit of the coast and a lot of style- that’s Pacific Blue!
