Recently a customer contacted us about some work she’s doing for a client’s nursery. The client is using Glenna Jean’s Grayson pattern, and our designer wondered which of our sheer cotton curtains might work well with it. We think that Ivy Lace, a sheer ivory cotton voile curtain with opaque vines scrolling across it, will look beautiful.
This client’s question got me thinking about nurseries and Saffron Marigold, and how well they might go together! I thought I’d explore a few combinations and share my findings. I suppose it’s extra fun for me to think about this as I have a new little one at home this year. 🙂 These are all beautiful combinations – I hope you’re inspired!
Whether you’re an expectant mom, an excited grandmother or a consultant, like our customer, these design combos should give you something to think about. The great thing about using a “grown up” curtain in a baby’s room is, of course, that the decor can grow with the child. Our fair trade linens are luxurious 100% cotton, hand dyed with vegetable and high quality synthetic dyes, and are uniquely hand printed by artisans. They will be a treasure your child will cherish long after she’s left the nursery.
